Built in America. Run by a Brit.
CarConnective started in the United States, and our founder is British — back and forth between here and the States. That is rather the point: the UK version is not a translation somebody did afterwards.
A UK dealership is not an American one with different spelling.
The MOT has no US equivalent. Part-exchange is not a trade-in. PECR is not the TCPA, and the ICO is not the FTC. Aftersales carries the site in a way the American term “fixed ops” does not begin to convey.
So the UK product runs in sterling, works from the official MOT record, speaks in job cards and ramps and part-exchanges, and is measured against UK GDPR, PECR and Consumer Duty. Your staff will never see an Americanism on screen — and neither will your customers.
We would rather you read that here than work it out later. If you need a UK contracting entity in order to proceed, tell us early — it is a conversation we are ready to have, not one we will dodge.
Four positions, and what each one costs us.
The dealer should own the data
Your customers, your vehicles, your job cards. Held on infrastructure carrying your group's name, exportable on demand with real tooling rather than a support ticket and a ninety-day wait. If the door is open, the only thing keeping you is whether the product works — which is the discipline we wanted on ourselves.
One brain beats twenty suppliers
Not because consolidation is tidy, but because the problems are connected and the software is not. The declined job in the workshop, the settlement position and the MOT date belong to the same person — and no stack of separate tools can see that, however good each one is.
Security is not a page on a website
It is an architectural decision made before the software is written. Your group's own node, consent checked before every send, and an evidence record written as the work happens rather than assembled the week before an audit.
We would rather lose a deal than overstate one
We are not SOC 2 certified and we say so, in writing, on the security page. We publish no customer results because we do not have any yet. We will not put a recovery figure on a web page because we do not know your numbers. Every one of those costs us something — and it is why the things we do claim are worth believing.
The founder is on the call.
Not a sales development representative reading a script, and not a demo bot. At this stage of the company that is not a promise we have to manufacture — it is simply how it works. Ask the hard questions on the first call, because you will be asking the person who can answer them.
Ask us the awkward one.
Most groups have a question shaped by a supplier who let them down. If we do not know the answer we will say so and come back to you the same day.
